On 1 September 2026, The Foundation for Innovation and Research – Malta (FiR.mt) was pleased to be represented at the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of Esplora Interactive Science Centre.

Two members of FiR.mt’s attended the event, joining representatives from across Malta’s research, education, innovation and science-engagement communities in celebrating this important milestone.

Over the past decade, Esplora has played an important role in bringing science, technology, engineering and innovation closer to society, particularly by inspiring children and young people to explore STEM through interactive and engaging experiences.

For FiR.mt, public engagement and the connection between research and society are important elements of its mission. The Foundation has collaborated with Esplora through research, education and dissemination activities, including initiatives aimed at making scientific and technological developments more accessible to the wider community.

FiR.mt congratulates the entire Esplora team on ten years of achievement and wishes the Centre continued success in inspiring curiosity, learning and innovation across Malta.
