The Foundation for Innovation and Research – Malta (FiR.mt) participated in the latest General Assembly of the GIANTS – Green Intelligent Affordable New Transport Solutions project EU Project, hosted by Valeo at its New Mobility Center in Amiens, France.

FiR.mt was represented by Austeja Mockeviciute-Azzopardi, who joined partners from across the European consortium for two days of discussions reviewing progress, exchanging experiences and coordinating the next stages of the project.

A particular highlight was seeing the different GIANTS demonstrator vehicles together on the track. Following earlier testing of project components, the demonstrations provided an opportunity to see how the GIANTS approach to standardisation and modularity is being translated into different vehicle configurations for passenger and cargo transport.

For FiR.mt, the General Assembly provided another valuable opportunity to contribute to the consortium’s work and strengthen collaboration with European research and industry partners in electric mobility, sustainable transport and future mobility solutions.
