Our Learn & Share activities connect education with real-world research, Living Labs, and European collaboration, ensuring that learning is grounded in practice and aligned with long-term impact.

Academic Training and Supervision

FiR.mt supports academic training and research supervision through structured cooperation with Maltese and European higher education institutions.

This includes an agreement with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, enabling:

  • Master’s and doctoral research pathways
  • Malta-based dissertations and theses
  • Co-supervision arrangements involving FiR.mt researchers
  • Research topics aligned with ongoing European and national projects

These arrangements allow students to conduct applied, research-driven work within Living Lab and real-world environments, while benefiting from joint academic and practice-oriented supervision. Other co-supervision and collaboration with The University of Malta on Masters and Doctoral studies are in place.

Research-Based Learning in Living Labs

Learning activities at FiR.mt are closely integrated with Living Labs and applied research infrastructures, enabling participants to:
